Over the past 10 years, PharmaGlobe has seen exponential growth in its business model.
Starting out with a small warehouse of 500 sq. feet at the back of our community pharmacy, the business quickly expanded to lease a large third-party warehouse close to Heathrow in Feltham, Middlesex to meet the demand for overseas supplies from this burgeoning pharmaceutical distributor.
PharmaGlobe is a market leader in providing pharmaceutical supplies to international markets such as in Africa and The Middle East and has extensive distribution networks across the globe. Utilising the licensed premises at Heathrow allowed the business to expand quickly in its overseas market. PharmaGlobe has also seen rapid growth in its domestic business, but due to the fact that the current warehouse is operated by a third-party, it has been difficult to manage lead times for picking and packing and overheads due to the location.
It was therefore decided that PharmaGlobe will move to a new Headquarters & Warehouse in Hemel Hempstead, allowing the UK domestic market to be afforded the same opportunities as the overseas market had been receiving.
The new Headquarters has a combined floor space of 7,500 square feet, 15 times larger than their original storage warehouse and has deluxe, state-of-the-art offices from which to conduct all global operations.

Operating our own licensed warehouse and dedicated HQ means that we are in a better to position to control costs and overheads and can radically reduce lead times. This means that we are in a far better position to provide excellent customer service to our clients and can improve our response times.
The good news about our business growth is that we can retain our third-party licensed facility at Heathrow, convenient for exporting to global markets whilst expanding into the new Headquarters at Hemel Hempstead. Our new custom-designed Warehouse and HQ will allow us to tightly manage and oversee our operations which in turn will enable us to offer optimum customer service”.
